2007: Sales & Business Development Representative AsiaPac for CityLive (Belgium).
Europe’s largest wireless city lab, strongly endorsed by Microsoft, HP and Cisco wanted to assess strategic partnerships and customers for future AsiaPac operation. Worked with senior management team at HQ and regional AsiaPac partners to set-up hosted mobile web 2.0 community services platform. Investment postponed.
2006: Interim Sales & Business Development Director for Appear Networks (Sweden).
Leading context-aware enterprise mobility platform vendor, strongly endorsed by Cisco, wanted to double 2005 revenues. Created new sales-strategy: responsible for driving licensing and consultancy sales in 14 European & Asian countries (Singapore, HK, S. Korea), managing a team of 10 account managers and 4 (external) sales-agents. Separately tasked by the Board to prepare 2007-2009 AsiaPac activities. However new CEO took decision in autumn 2006 to focus new growth investments on USA-market.
