Zylstrategy was founded in early 2000 when the promise of new –disruptive– technologies like mobile communications and internet technologies to break thru age-old paradigms was refreshing, to say the least.

Pieter K. Zylstra, founder/managing director, had the privilege of having experienced for years as an insider how the global telco industry was unable (and on occasions unwilling) to understand, adopt and embrace the pace and impact of these new realities (that we now all take for granted).

Thus the step to set-up an independent strategy consultancy company focusing upon the impact of new innovative wireless and internet technologies for corporate and personal life was hardly surprising.

Since then it has been a roller-coaster ride, riding the waves of change, and experiencing the ups & dows of this exciting industry…. A mind-boggling journey across the planet has offered Mr. Zylstra experiences as a wireless internet entrepreneur, board-level strategist and interim sales & business development manager in working on a variety of projects in over a dozen countries in both Europe and AsiaPac.

Today the company is operating from its regional offices in the Netherlands and Indonesia, supporting our various customers in achieving their ambitions.

Since 2006 part of the profits of the company are being invested in a number of selected not-for-profit activities.
